The current Global Innovation Index by A.T. Kearney was quite clear: German companies are in danger of being overrun by disruptive innovations. Digital platform operators and agile start-ups challenge entire business models overnight. When surveyed, 60 percent of more than 100 international managers felt that one-fifth of their turnover is threatened by this transformed economy within the next five years.
The report by A.T. Kearney reaches the conclusion that in this competitive environment companies can only survive by partnering innovations. They must cooperate more – with other local and international companies, with start ups, but also with customers, universities, and other research institutions. However, many German companies must first develop the capability of recognizing and communicating their need for cooperation.
For us at DARZ, partnership is an integrative part of our business philosophy next to infrastructure, technology and expertise. Only the unique infrastructure set-up of our data center in Darmstadt combined with access to the technology and resources of partners around the world, as well as our own conceptual expertise, coupled with in-depth cooperation with innovative sector leaders allowed us to create the first genuine hybrid Cloud.
As a digital evolution provider, DARZ offers an optimal growth environment for innovations. Germany is ranked fifth when it comes to access to information technology, which is good. Consequently, we consider it our aim to network even more extensively to prepare the field for the coming years to constantly advance our customers and partners.
