Root Cause Analysis

The “Root Cause Analysis” (RCA) employs several methods to detect the cause of problems and miscarried processes. This is not about dealing with the symptoms but about identifying the source to eradicate it. RCA is a key element of quality management. It encompasses several levels: at first, the appearing symptoms are described in detail. Subsequently, possible problem sources are detected, step three retraces the way the error took.
