Virtualization of the operating system

When virtualising the operating system, many virtual of one operating system can be created. However, it is not possible to use different guest operaion systems. The virtualisation of an operating system, also named as OS-Level or Shared-OS-Virtualisation, virtualises server on Operating System-Kernel-Level. This kind of virtualisation forms isolated partitions or virtual environments (VE) on a physical server and operating system instance. Both hardware and software as well as the resources for the computer centre and the management can be used with maximum efficiency.
