In October everything will evolve around the topic of security, as it has been designated the European Cyber Security Month (ECSM). Therefore, on October 26, DARZ will once again open its doors on the occasion of the ECSM, and together with the network IT for Work e.V. of the Darmstadt chamber of industry and trade, and IT Seals GmbH is inviting its guests to the Industry 4.0 sector’s third meet & greet that will focus on the topic of “social engineering” this year.
As an operator of a high-security data center, DARZ is very interested in supporting the annual campaign and to inform the public of the dangers of cyberspace. What better way to create awareness of the need for more IT security than to use live examples that illustrate how easy it is to collect sensitive information of employees?
“The transfer of knowledge is one of the main intentions of this series of events. The IT for Work network possesses a huge treasure chest of information and a large number of first-rate business contacts. At the same time, the event offers excellent chances for research and development, and for launching joint projects with IT companies. Our ultimate aim is to advance the growth of the sector in the Rhine Main Neckar region,” said Lars Göbel, Sales and IT Services Manager of DARZ GmbH.
DARZ is therefore particularly proud of having established together with IT for Work an event format that links local IT companies, users, and researches by creating the potential for discusion of current IT-related themes.
IT for Work gladly welcomes students and teachers, companies, researchers, interested persons, and IT newcomers.
